In 2014, Raymond came to Stephen and asked if he'd join him in shooting the Miss Iowa Scholarship Organization. It seemed like a fun way to hang out with family and take some photographs. Along with that came the Miss Iowa Youth Program. Soon after, we picked up shooting Caged Aggression MMA as well. In fact, one year we covered Miss Iowa and Caged Aggression on the same weekend! (thanks to the Cusack family for the assist)

Over the years, we managed to blend the two together, truly uniting Beauty and the Beast, so to speak. It's been a true pleasure to give over 10 years of our lives to these organizations. Not only did these experiences make us better photographers, but they also made us better people, and we made some wonderful new friends and family along the way.

As we close out the year in October with Caged Aggression, we will also be closing out the Say Uncle! Photography journey. This has been a memorable and life-changing chapter in our lives. We're gracious to everyone that bought a photo, shared a link, or just said a kind word. We're thankful for all the friends we made. And we're thankful we got the honor to capture so many lifelong memories for so many.

Switching gears now to Caged Aggression MMA's main event from Saturday's Challengers 8 held at the RiverCenter in Davenport, IA. Capping off the evening, Luke Rodriguez kept the pressure on Daniel Soko to bring home the win via submission in the first round.
