I saw this lone dandelion while walking. I found it a beautiful subject. Yes, it's not all fully there however there is such a beauty behind it.
If you look closely, you will see that I caught another subject hiding.
It is barely visible, but if you look closely you will see it.

While at my parents this weekend, I went on a walk down through the woods by the creek. As I passed this one spot that had access to the creek bed, I heard a rustling in the low brush next me.

As I looked that way I saw movement moving away from me. I stepped back up to open ground and watched as this young Yearling came out of her hiding place. I believe she was bedded down right there as the area looked as if she had been sleeping.

We proceeded to have a short staring contest with her stamping her hoof at me and huffing as I stared right back through my camera lens.

As the short couple of minutes passed, I was in awe of both her beauty and curiosity of me. God's creation is such an absolute wonder.

"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not turn away from it". Proverbs 22:6

Over the weekend at Lake Keystone, OK I saw these geese with their babies. As I watched them it reminded me of being raised as a missionary kid in Kenya and growing up with my parents teaching from scripture. I will forever be thankful for them and their guidance at a young age.

As I grew older, I did fall away from my faith. I ran as fast and far as I could from everything I was ever taught. For many years I walked through those dark valleys feeling alone. However, I always clung to Hope for some reason. So, when in my life I wanted nothing to do with Jesus, God, the Bible or even Church I held hope.

In my darkest and lowest point spiritually, all I could do was go back to what my parents taught me as a young child. I called out to God. I called out to Jesus Christ as a lost child. Then and only then, did I realize fully where my Hope comes from.

"Let everything that has breath Praise the Lord". Psalm 150:6

As I took this shot of the squirrel with a raw peanut firmly grasped in his mouth with eyes closed, I was reminded of how "All" of creation will Praise the Lord.

It made me wonder if in some way this little guy was thanking God for providing him with a source of food.
