A quick update on my eye surgery. I had my one week follow up and I'm healing well and my post-op restrictions are over. The air bubble that was introduced into my eye is almost gone and the vitrios fluid is clear. The doctor removed the floaters and also some calcium deposits that were living there.
I had no pain during the process and just have to finish a series of eye drops in the next few weeks.
I hope to get back to shooting again soon.

Just a followup on my recent post concerning the floaters that have been living in my left eye for the last several years.
On this coming Tuesday, the 27th, I'll be having a vitrectomy on my eye which will remove the vitrios fluid and replace it with some secret sauce and a small gas bubble. This will require a face-down attitude for five days so the bubble can do it's work.
The surgeon is optimistic about the outcome and the success rate is around 95%, +/-
I'll post again once I'm through the process. My goal is to start shooting again in mid February so bear with me.
Any positive vibes would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't posted on my business page for some time, so I thought I'd take a moment to do so now.
Aging has begun to take a toll on my vision and that, in turn, is challenging my editing ability. I have a few things going on that I've been dealing with; Posterior Vitreous Detachment (PVD) which creates large amounts of collagen, protein strands and cell debris. Think floaters on steroids. I also have glaucoma and age-related Macular Degeneration.
Each of these conditions are monitored and have been treated as required but having them has made it difficult to do the close work editing requires.
I'm not ready to hang up my Nikon just yet but that time is coming.
So, in the interest of self-promotion, if anyone would like to shoot during the holidays, or after, let me know. I promise I'll give you the best results I can, or you can burn the images. I don't recommend that though because you'd likely have to set your phone on fire.

I haven't posted much lately but I'm still here creating art where I can.

I love photography. It's the motivator that has helped me in my senior years and, because of it, I will have a camera at hand for as long as I can.

What has changed is the closing of the studio, Brick & Bougie, that I, and other terrific shooters, worked out of over the last three plus years. It became our photographic home.
But times change and we have to change along with them.

I'll still be out there shooting, that will not change, just the where. I'll continue to share my work and will be reaching out and available to shoot new concepts. I can be reached via DM.
