Beach sessions are in full swing, and I’ve been BUSY!!!!! Between shooting, editing, and actually being present for my girls and husband, social media has taken a little bit of a back seat lately. But I have SO much goodness to share!

Starting with these DRONE SHOTS because I’m absolutely obsessed with this new perspective! We’re still learning and figuring it all out, but I’m already loving what it adds to a session. And I’m so thankful for clients like these two, who always trust me and happily go along with all of my ideas. 😂

I’ve had the honor of photographing so many different chapters of their story over the years, which makes getting to capture this one feel even more special. Watching their story unfold through my lens has been such a gift, and I already know they’re going to be the most amazing parents!

I miss how carefree young love is.

No five-year plan. No rushing through life. Just beach sunsets, sandy feet, laughing until your stomach hurts, and feeling like the whole world is yours.

There’s something so beautiful about that season of life... and it’s one of the reasons I absolutely love photographing young couples.

Their joy is contagious, their love is effortless, and getting to freeze this chapter before life gets a little busier makes my heart happy!

Oh to be that young again lol

Senior year is one of those chapters that feels like an ending and a beginning all at once.

One last year of familiar hallways, Friday nights, friendships, and the life you’ve known… while an entirely new one is waiting just around the corner.

Senior photos are about more than checking something off the graduation list. They’re about capturing who you are right now, in this little space between where you’ve been and where you’re going.

And there’s just something about the beach at sunset that feels perfect for it. Barefoot in the sand, salty air, golden light, and photos that actually feel like YOU.
Class of 2027, this is your year. Let’s capture it.

Confession time... 🙋🏻‍♀️

I have approximately 47,000 photos on my phone.
And yet, some of my favorite photos aren’t technically the “best” ones.

They’re the ones that instantly take me back to a moment.

A season.

A version of my kids that doesn’t exist anymore.

That’s the thing about photos… they become more valuable with time.

Not because they’re perfect. But because they remind us how it felt to be there.

Last week, while we were in South Carolina for my daughter’s dance competition, I got to spend time with my best friend who moved there and got to capture some beautiful moments for her family… and a few portraits of just her. 🤍

I can’t wait to share them because they reminded me exactly why I love photography.

Some seasons of life feel like they’ll last forever… until one day, you look back and realize how much has changed.

Photos are more than pretty pictures. They’re a way to hold onto the people you love, the moments you never want to forget, and the version of yourself you’ll one day miss.

The beach has a way of slowing everything down. The salty air, golden light, and sound of the waves create the perfect space to simply be present while I document your story.

Whether it’s a milestone, your family, your love story, your senior year, or simply a reminder that you deserve to exist in the photos too… you don’t need a special occasion to preserve this chapter.

Because life won’t look exactly like it does today. And that’s what makes today worth remembering.
