Last week I did a thing. ☺️

Teaching a workshop on camera confidence felt a little ironic because stepping in front of the camera has been just as much of a journey for me as it has been for many of my clients.

It was an honor to share what I’ve learned about showing up authentically, creating content with purpose, and building a personal brand people connect with.

We also wrapped up the day with complimentary branding portraits. As a branding photographer, I wanted to create something a little more personal than a traditional headshot and help attendees walk away with images that felt like them.

One of my favorite reminders from the workshop:

⭐️ People don’t connect with perfection. They connect with authenticity.

Here’s to showing up, even when it’s outside your comfort zone. 👏🏽

I have such a soft spot for new, brave, creative small businesses. Being invited into someone’s very first vision and helping bring it to life on camera is honestly one of my favorite parts of what I do.
