Have you ever been around a couple and you can just instantly tell they can handle anything together? Not only that but with a big grin on their face?? Amanda and Adam were a dream to photograph on their wedding day and proof that most of the things that stress a couple out are distractions from the union of dedicating your life to each other.

I can't wait to share more details about this wonderful couple, their family and oh can you say the goodest groomsman to have ever walked down the aisle! 🐶👔

Here's a little backstory about this beautiful couple. Stephanie and I used to work together. She was my boss, actually! (and a very cool one at that). Over the years that we've known each other, I've seen some major transitions in her life--both professionally and personally, but the best one so far has been the radiance she has around her now HUSBAND, Aaron.

To see these two go from low-key office dating to a couple so in love and in tune with each other melts my heart. They are proof that love can happen no matter what season of life you're going through and I was honored to capture a page of their love story on their wedding day.

It's been a year since I photographed this radiant mama who’s now getting ready to celebrate her daughter’s 1st birthday.

Lexis’ maternity session illustrates why it’s so important to let your magic to be captured. To me, Portraits are a personal memento for that season of your life and how much you’ve grown. Your pregnancy story is unique to you and your baby, as no two pregnancies are alike. I believe photographs can bring back those little nuances and feelings you might have forgotten and remind you that you’re a badass goddess—even if you might not have felt like one at the time.

When Lexis looks back at her maternity photos, I hope she smiles, thinking back on those few precious days between sharing one “home” together with Cassi, before her first steps into Motherhood.

2 years ago today, Devin and I got married at Wildwood Park for the Arts. Since this day, I can say that Devin and I have grown stronger as individuals, which in turn has made our relationship more fulfilling. He's my person, and despite our 10 years together, we're still learning about each other.

Of all the lessons I've learned so far though, there are 7 that stand out to me. Here's a throwback to my first magic photoshoot. Often times, friends and family members are confused as to why I love of taking these kinds of conceptual photoshoots of women.

From a very young age, I've been fascinated with the feminine spirit. To me, (she) is a woman of resilience, a mystery to even herself at times, rooted in nature and ancient stories. She has a fierce heart, wears a mischievous smile, and will fight for what she loves without question. And when she calls her vulnerabilities by their familiar names and chooses to love herself, she is unstoppable.

As I've gotten older, I've learned to appreciate all the nuances and spectrum of women claiming their magic, along with my own. Perhaps the simplest response I can give to someone that is confused by the purpose of these photoshoots is, "how could I not?"

Happy International Women's Day to all you lovely, fiery, and bad ass women. Remind your favorites that they are worthy today and always. ✨🌙♀️
