Therapists - it’s probably time for a new, updated headshot.

I recently sat with a young adult who was shopping for a therapist. As we sorted through the listings, they mindfully chose a small handful of therapists with a wide range of ages, genders and specialties who they wanted to initially contact. They flew right over many of the profiles without a single click.

Of the profiles selected, the one thing they all had in common was… a perfect headshot. Those shots conveyed warmth, compassion and credibility all in one quick, subconscious glance. This is my specialty - taking that simple and vital headshot to the next level and creating an image that speaks volumes.

Not all headshots are created equal. Therapists need a shot that evokes a balance between professionalism and personal warmth, a shot that says, “I’m legit, trustworthy, and kind”. This is wildly different than a headshot taken for other professions. I’m here to make sure you look the part.

I just LOVE this family. They are simply the best. It’s been so fun to see these teenagers grow up and become amazing humans. I’m so grateful to have clients who are down to have fun, enjoy their family time together as we freeze this very slippery moment in time. In a few years these kiddos are going to be off in the world and they will have these photos to look back on. 💜
