One thing about me is I’m gonna 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆.

I’ll notice how your daughter’s eyes light up when you spin her around and the big smile that creeps onto her face. I’ll notice how your baby boy lets his head fall heavily on your chest. I’ll notice all the little kisses you sneak.

I’ll notice the pure joy that exists when you’re simply getting to love on & play with your kids.

That’s what deserves to be preserved - the connection, love and joy that courses through the family you’ve created & what a blessing it is 🤍

Little seasons that pass by way too quick. I always say my favorite stage is from 6 months to 2 years old. It’s such a fun stage with so many changes in a short period of time. Gimme all the babiessss!

Celebrating the blessing of new life while honoring the life of a child who’s in the arms of Jesus is a battle of emotion no parent should have to fight; but I am constantly amazed by those who are walking that journey and how incredibly strong they are.

When Hannah reached out to me, I had seen their story and knew I wanted to include their daughter somehow during their session with their son. We placed Ellie’s ashes on a shelf above them and got the whole family in a few photos. I had snapped a shot of her rubbing AJs cheek and didn’t realize at the time, but found out later in the session, that the rings in that image also hold meaning for their babies.

Talking to Hannah and Austin was like talking to old friends, and anyone who knows Hannah I’m sure would agree - strength and love radiates from her.

AJ & Ellie have the best parents and I’m so grateful I got the opportunity to document and get to know their family 🤍🦋
