I needed to do a photography project and this idea came to mind.
A gallery of the counties fire departments.
Pittsylvania County, being the largest county in the state of Virginia, has a total of 21 fire or fire & rescue departments serving our communities. Folks, that requires a lot of volunteers, men & women, that dedicate their time and experience to protect and save property, plus provide EMS service.
Please thank them and assist the departments through donations or volunteer work. Every little bit helps. A current study for funding is underway in the county. The last study was in 2006.
