Earlier this spring, we had the honor of spending the day with the incredible team at as they brought the community together for a pickleball tournament benefiting an amazing cause.

So much laughter, support, kindness, and genuine love filled the room that day. Grateful to have been trusted to capture even a small piece of it all.

Still holding onto last night with a really full heart.

There’s a quiet kind of gratitude in realizing how far a year can stretch.

Just one year ago, honey & sage was just stepping into that room for the first time. Nervous, grateful, taking it all in.

Last night felt like a soft kind of return, but with a seat at the table among people who genuinely inspire us.

Sitting beside our favorite pizza place (watching her take home an award!!!), the heart and mind behind the Workbar of Salem, an interior designer whose work and presence both feel intentional and grounding, and a company working to make tech more accessible and thoughtful… all that kept going through our minds was, what a table to be sitting at.

Salem really has this way of gathering the most incredible people in one place.

We’re so deeply grateful honey & sage gets to exist here, to grow here, and to be held by a community like this.

Congratulations to all of the winners, fellow nominees, and everyone who fills that room with so much care and creativity. It was truly an honor to be among you 🥹🤍✨

The Red String Theory says that people who are destined to meet are connected by an invisible red thread. No matter how far apart they are, or how much time passes, the thread quietly guides their paths toward each other.

Maybe that’s the only way to describe Kylie & Maxwell. Just two people, and a love that always knew its way home. 

We will forever be incredibly honored & grateful to have able to capture this thread turn into a moment last month🧵❤️✨🥹

We’re feeling grateful today.

Honey & Sage has been nominated for Best New Business for the Celebrate Salem Awards, and it’s something we’re receiving with a lot of humility and appreciation.

Building this little business in Salem has been incredibly meaningful. This community shows up for its small businesses in such real and generous ways, and we feel lucky to be surrounded by people who care so deeply about supporting one another. We’re especially grateful to the Salem Chamber of Commerce and the people who work so hard to uplift and celebrate local businesses.

Honey & Sage exists because people have trusted us with their stories. Their families, their milestones, and the quiet moments in between. Being invited into those spaces is something we never take lightly, and it’s what has allowed this work to grow into what it is today.

✨ A day of celebration and community at the beautiful - a space filled with conversation, shared lunch, and quiet moments of inspiration before the room erupted in applause as awards were presented for RE/MAX Beacon. We are so grateful to have been part of it.

There is something special about photographing these moments: the smiles of agents honored for their hard work, the subtle pride in their posture, and the connections between colleagues who support one another behind the scenes. Every award represents effort, relationships, and the stories of individuals who show up day after day to serve their clients and community - and we are thankful for the opportunity to document those stories.

We are deeply grateful to RE/MAX Beacon for trusting us to capture gatherings like this - spaces where professionalism meets community and celebration meets purpose. Being in a room with such driven, generous, and inspiring individuals is a privilege, and it reminds us why we do what we do: to preserve these moments so they can be remembered long after the applause fades.
