Throwing my face back on the feed to say hi to everyone and to talk about the tough realities of businesses this year.
I won’t lie, out of the past 6 years of me being full time in my business, this year is by far the worst that my business has done. With prices drastically rising for everyone, I am getting fewer and fewer inquiries and fewer bookings. As Photographers, you always have some seasons in the year where you’re in an inquiry/booking drought, but with that then comes a flow of inquiries. This year has not been the case, and I am not the only photographer who is feeling their business literally crumble before their eyes. It’s scary, and I’ll totally admit it and be honest.
And I’ll also be the first to ask, if we have worked together, please continue to share to your friends your experience if anyone is looking for a photographer, or leave a Google review if you have not already. Word of mouth is a ginormous help!!
I hope that the world starts to become an easier place for people and that people don’t have to continue to struggle with raising prices, and I hope that all my fellow vendors don’t have to continue to struggle to keep their business afloat. We quite literally are all in this together 🤍
