This editorial at the War Memorial gave me a chance to slow down, soak in beautiful design, collaborate with talented creatives, and be inspired without the rush of a wedding day timeline.

There's something special about sitting in the details, the light, the artistry, and remembering why I fell in love with photographing weddings in the first place.

Brooke never saw herself as a "white wedding dress" girlie, so when she and Arjun fell in love 7 years ago, she'd found someone who'd bring her colorful wedding attire dreams come true 🧡

Originally, A & B were planning a lovely American style wedding, but Brooke had decided to wear the traditional red Sikh saree. Last fall, one of Arjun's aunt's reached out with a plan to celebrate their wedding with a Sangeet and Anand Karaj.

The cultural events honoring the families Indian heritage were such an incredible gift to the newlyweds! Both days were so full of vibrancy and life, and it was a blast capturing it all ✨️

Charlie and Mireya brought the absolute sweetest energy to their tulip session in Holland, Michigan and honestly... these feel straight out of a dream

This session is giving full Soft Glam Girl energy. Gorgeous little white dresses from Pierre's, bright colors, glowy light, clear blue skies, flowers everywhere, and photos that feel soft without feeling overly posed.

One of my favorite things about senior sessions is that they don't have to all look the same. Some girls love florals and dreamy gardens, some want downtown editorial vibes, and some want graffiti walls and bold colors.

Participating in this annual Derby event at The Northfork Estate has been so special! Every year, funds are all donated to Hospice of Lansing Stoneleigh Residence, an organization who's impacted the lives of many families in the area, including mine. It's such a fun event for a wonderful cause, and it's already on my calendar for next year 🐎
