We make this style of dinner plate using a drop-out ring; i.e., when we've created the 10.75" glass disk, we place it on a ring set on a kiln shelf so that when the kiln reaches slumping temperature, the center of the glass drops down. It comes out of the kiln as a plate with a raised rim. Turquoise-Red-Amber Spatter, and Violet & Turquoise Chipper.

We've made two different styles of dinner plates. These are coupe plates, Periwinkle Pretty and Blue & Green Geometry.
