📢 PSA:
A quick note regarding image galleries and older sessions:

Over the past few weeks, I've received quite a few messages from clients trying to access galleries from years ago through the old Loving Memories Photography account. Unfortunately, the gallery platform that was previously used has recently changed how they handle older galleries and is now archiving sessions after a certain period of time. This has made retrieving older images much more difficult and, in some cases, impossible.

When our businesses merged, one of the reasons we chose to move away from Zenfolio (the system Loving Memories used) and stick to Pixieset (the system Oh Snap uses) was because of concerns like this. Currently, Pixieset does not archive client galleries in the same manner, which allows us to keep galleries accessible longer. However, it is important to remember that Pixieset is still a third-party platform, and no online gallery service should be considered permanent storage.

This is why we strongly encourage all clients to download and save their images as soon as they receive their gallery. We recommend storing them in multiple locations, such as your computer, an external hard drive, cloud storage, or a USB drive. Technology changes, companies change policies, etc. The only way to truly ensure your memories are protected is to maintain your own backups.

As outlined in our contracts, we do not guarantee permanent image storage and cannot be held responsible for lost, inaccessible, or deleted images after they have been delivered. Once your session is complete and your digital product is delivered to you, it is your responsibility to ensure that you download and save your images to a safe and secure space. Please do not rely on our gallery system as a permanent and personal storage space. That is not what it's intended purpose is. It's sole purpose is to deliever the images to you, not to store them permanently. While we will always do our best to help when possible, we are not always able to recover galleries from years past.

Your photos are some of your most treasured memories, and we want to make sure you have them safely stored for years to come. ❤️

For this sweet little ONE’s first birthday session, we headed outdoors for an evening filled with laughter, snuggles, and plenty of smiles. As always, this amazing family made my job easy!
