Our Story

Hello everyone,

My name is Krystal and I’m the owner and lead photographer of LovingShots Photography ! I take such pride in what I do and I always put 100% in to everything I do. I started my business in the summer of 2015, I was across country in Virgina on military orders with my husband. I had a 3 year old and 1 year old twins at that time and I was away from all of my family back in sunny California. I have always loved taking photos and at that time I really wanted to have something that was mine, something I could do that I enjoyed. I wasnt even thinking of starting a business, I just wanted to have nice clear photos of my kids that I could share with my family. So I bought my first high end name brand camera and that’s when I realized just how much I absolutely enjoyed getting behind my camera and taking photos, and I was actually really great at it! I realized that my “beginner” photos were so much better than most of these “professional” photographers I had paid years ago to take family photos for me. So I had a conversation with my husband, who is a big part of my team. He is my second shooter for all of our weddings and large events. We are a veteran owned and operated team. So I had asked him his thoughts on starting my business and if he thought I was or could be good enough to do this professionally, and he had my back. My real passion in photography is everything baby! Maternity,Delivery photos and my absolute favorite Newborn photography. There is just something that takes over me when I get to do a newborn session. I love how small and innocent these babies are. It’s a hard feeling to describe but I have this rush of excitement and joy that takes over and I love it! I put a lot of time and thought in to each outfit and set up from head pieces to back drops. I carefully find and buy pieces that compliment each other so no matter what the next set up is, it all flows to be a cohesive collection.
