Location, Location, Location! Pt. 3

Today's location spotlight: Carambola Beach Resort (This is not an ad)

If you're scouting for a photoshoot location on St. Croix, one stop you may consider is the Carambola Beach Resort St. Croix U.S. Virgin Islands. Where emerald hills meet turquoise waters, it's a beautiful photography location for a variety of shots. You have the beach, the pool, the hotel's walkway, the tower (idk what it's called really), the cabanas, and if you have access then of course the rooms as well. Also, Danica M David has a gorgeous Moko Jumbie painting at the hotel for that additional local charm. Beautiful as it is, when they say it is a get away, it is exactly that. Located at Estate Davis Bay, the hotel is secluded from just about everything else. So, unless your client is staying there, or you literally just wanted to be there, it is a bit of a trip (to me personally). Regardless, if you want a location that can provide ample looks, this is one of them. Make sure you stop by management and ask for permission if you're shooting on the property itself. Not so much the beach because there are no private beaches in the Virgin Islands.
