I’m not normally up early on a Sunday. It is my day of rest, my not get out of bed before 9am. Today I said yes to a project, and Momo said hello. It’s a year since we lost our Montana girl. It’s amazing how you find their quiet grace in other spirits.

I continue to be the biggest tree nerd ever. If you walk, run, Wog (yes it is a word for the over 40’s walk & jog), at the lake edge and see the erosion, the trees and their roots that results in wood debris in the lake, it starts somewhere. This is Mother Nature in her calm before the storm, the glorious sunrise and the beauty! Will this tree be with us in 5 years…pretty sure the history seen here with the roots says “my God it was a glorious time.!”

Mother Nature is a strange beast in what she shows us daily! When I ran this morning the tree damage from yesterday evenings storm was pretty extensive…I feel like she was saying “out with the old, in with the new”. I decided to focus on the wonder instead…crazy contrast from left to right!
