Ever since the very first time I heard “the lakes” by Taylor Swift (bonus track on folklore), my mind was flooded with endless images of wisteria, and running away, and mountainside kisses, and isolated lake shores. I HAD to do something about it.

My original plan was to actually put this shoot together in Portland, OR, but yeah was in full swing September of 2020.

I switched gears and teamed up with Sheryl from , and made this freaking happen. We gathered some of the best vendors Wisconsin had to offer, and then counted down the days to that first weekend of November.

We woke up well before the sun, hiked up that cliff-side to get the “Windermere Peaks” imagery, before heading back down and finding a piece of lakeshore that was just for us. And we told a story of a love worth keeping.

brought us on to their printed Fall Issue this year, and I am still in shock. I put everything into this set, and I can’t explain how incredible it is to see them in print. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
