Wedding reception turned neighborhood block party! After a blended religious ceremony in their front yard, T&E did a quick wardrobe change— the dress code was 90s country —and welcomed all their neighbors to come dance in the middle of the street. Truly a party I’ll never forget 🤠

No one comes to your wedding for a LinkedIn headshot.

They come to support you, celebrate you, and be present with you.

Over posing, stopping the day repeatedly for photos, and turning people into props isn’t the vibe.

Candid portraits, letting guests stay emotionally present, capturing people as they naturally show up for you, is.

No one came to your wedding for a LinkedIn headshot.

They came to support you, celebrate you, and be present with you.

So instead of over posing, stopping the day repeatedly for photos, & turning your people into props, I focus on candid portraits of your guests.

This allows everyone to stay emotionally present, and captures loved ones in a way that’s true and real. 💛

Not every wedding needs to be loud to be iconic. Some are quiet. Soft. Intentional.

This wedding didn’t need hype or interruption. It needed restraint, patience, and attention to the in-between. So that’s how I showed up.

Swipe through to see how documentary photography shifts when a wedding asks for softness instead of noise.

This is what I mean when I say presence over performance. Tiffany and Christopher didn’t want to disappear for hours for photos. They didn’t want rigid timelines pulling them away from their guests. They just wanted to be present, where the joy is. And their wedding photos reflect that.
