Welcome to Desert Whale Studio. My name is Kat, I am an amateur photographer, originally from Texas, now based out of North County, San Diego. Some of my favorite things to do apart from photography include Beach Volleyball, baking, drawing, sewing, thrifting, running a Flea Market Booth, and creating multimedia pieces of artwork! I am a Flight Attendant in my day to day job, I have seen most of the US and travelled a bit internationally. Packing may get old but exploring a new place never does.

My goal here is to photograph the small and big moments that speak to the viewer, the individual. I believe we all have a story to tell, it’s in the eyes, the hands, the smile. I am here to tell those stories.
