Today marks the day 37 years ago that I became a big sister.

This is my brother and one of my favorite pictures I’ve taken of him. In more ways than he knows.. he’s changed my life for the better. I’m so proud of him and the accomplishments he’s made in his life. So grateful to be a part of his life and I’m ready to see life flourishing for him in this new year.

What an honor to be able to capture the love through these photos…

and be able to stand side by side with these two on their big day! Two of my favorite people in the whole world are getting married!! And I’m so READY!! It’s been so beautiful to watch this relationship grow, and to be able to create such an amazing friendship that I will stay for lifetimes to come. Nicole and I are so grateful for you guys! Capturing one’s soul is a gift only a person can do.

Today, we let a computer take a photo of our faces and change it to look however or whatever you want it to look like. Just with a click of a button.

But, my button is different. When I click the button of my camera it captures the subject or moment just as I see them. Real. Real feelings, real emotions.

This is how I see people. This is how I see the world.

Sunday was such a beautiful movement. Seeing everyone coming together to show up for our brothers and sisters was so liberating. ✊🏼
