An end of an era in Downtown Dallas. 🤍

Today, the doors of the iconic Downtown Neiman Marcus closed for the final time after more than a century in the heart of the city.

Last year, I photographed my cousin’s undergrad graduation downtown, and of course we had to stop here because of the rumors I heard circulating and… she’s that girl and fit the esthetic perfectly.

The most intentional wedding portraits don’t just happen because we found a pretty location and had good light. A lot of them are made possible before the wedding day ever begins.

When I build my couples’ photography timeline, I’m looking at more than a list of photos we need to take. I’m considering when hair and makeup should be complete, travel time, where everyone needs to be, the best light, how long family portraits will realistically take, and where we need breathing room when something inevitably runs behind.

Because when your timeline has room to breathe, you do too!!

Less rushing. More presence. More time to actually enjoy the people you invited to celebrate with you along with space for us to create the beautiful portraits you’ve been dreaming of.
