If you are one of my birth clients, you, probably, heard me saying that birth never just about birth.

Would you agree?

The whole pregnancy is a wild journey, but birth, oh that birth takes you places you’ve never been before.

It is a physical, mental and spiritual passage that requires all of your strength and focus up until it’s time to surrender.

During that time your loved ones are close, your support team on standby and you…you at the top of the world not knowing if you have anything left to give… contraction after contraction…ready to give up.

And I am there too…with my camera as a witness to all of this: the gentle kiss of your partner, baby’s heart rate check and that first tear rolling down your eye when you hear the baby’s first cry.

I’m there to make sure ALL of it is not forgotten.

A couple of weeks ago, I had a pleasure of documenting a Fresh 48 session with the sweetest first moments: parents holding their first son; older sisters meeting their brother for the first time and the grandparents holding their grandson mesmerized by his newborn features.

Can I say that it was lovely? That whole room was filled with oxytocin. It was fantastic! I want more!

Do yourself a favor - book a Fresh 48 session when you have a baby. Even if it’s not with me, you will never regret capturing your baby’s tiny toes, sweet rolls and how in love you were right there at that moment. Believe me.

I am thankful for you, my dear clients, friends, for trusting me in documenting the current step into your motherhood journeys.

Your love for your families inspires to create and I am honored that just for a bit I am also a part of those memories.

It’s crazy that it’s been 15 years since two co-workers went to get a beer together and now here we are.

We switched countries, states, traveled together and then settled to have our now family of six here in Texas.

I love us and can’t wait to see what’s next ❤️.

They are filled with joy, tears: a rollercoaster of emotions. But the most precious part is that you get to hold these tiny toes, hands…touch those little fingers 🥰

Sometimes plans change…Sometimes they change so quickly that you need more time to digest than you actually have…
But in those moments…do you know what’s important? Your SUPPORT system. YOUR people that will be by your side no matter what.
I am so glad I was able to document the belly birth for this beautiful mama. The birth plan had changed, but the story was captured.
