Ohhhh NOLA, you never disappoint. 💛
I came to the NACE Experience conference on a scholarship from the Foundation of NACE, and I’m coming home with so much more than I expected. Getting that scholarship and then actually getting to be there, learn, connect, and experience it all made this the best one yet!
I talked to SO many people. Some convos were quick, some turned into real connections, and one even turned into a tarot card reading! 🔮 The people mean a lot. The conversations mean a lot. And honesty really is the best policy.
I’m incredibly excited about stepping into my role as the next DFW NACE President and what I want that year to look like. And the IDEAS I brought back! Programs, education, and so many ways we can make next year really special for our DFW chapter. I’m looking at you Micah Logan and Renee Dalo | International Keynote Speaker + Coach 👀
I also have to give a MAJOR shoutout to a wonderful human and someone I’m so glad I get to call a friend. I could not be prouder of Vanessa Alston for bringing home the Community Service Award for our chapter! Her dedication and drive are just a couple of the reasons she’s one of the best in the biz. Seeing one of our own recognized on that stage was such a great moment. ❤️
And NEXT year, we’re bringing home COTY, baby! 🏆
Three days of education, dancing, NOLA cuisine (marrow_restaurant), old friends, new connections, a little New Orleans fun, and a whole lot of inspiration.
I came home tired… but very, very excited. ✨
