Madi, our Sr. Motion Graphics Designer and a plasma ambassador with the Immune Deficiency Foundation, has volunteered to visit plasma centers this week to thank the donors and teams behind her life-saving medication for International Plasma Awareness Week. At age 8, she was diagnosed with Primary Immunodeficiency and has received immune globulin medication derived from pooled human plasma ever since. For , we are celebrating the plasma donors and collection teams that save countless lives daily.

Not every story can be told on a soundstage.

For this upcoming anthem film, our team sourced a warehouse, boardroom, and dining room to serve as the backdrop for three distinct scenes. From location scouting and talent casting to wardrobe, hair and makeup, and production design, every detail played a role in bringing the vision to life.

With our Senior Producer, Kelli Ann Pistokache, leading the production and our Director of Photography, Diego Noriega, bringing the vision to screen alongside the production team, this anthem film came to life. The project is a reminder that great storytelling often starts long before the camera rolls.

As we highlight this year’s Telly Award wins, we’re showcasing the National Medal of Honor Museum and the Silver-winning documentary “Valor & Victory,” recognized in the General – Documentary: Short Form category.

Created during the planning and construction of North Texas’ newest museum, “Valor & Victory” chronicles the years of vision, collaboration, and dedication that brought the museum to life. This documentary captures not just how the museum was built, but why it matters, honoring courage, sacrifice, and the enduring legacy of those who have received the nation’s highest military honor.

Some stories take you farther than expected.

Shot in Rio de Janeiro and directed by Brazilian filmmaker Pedro Oliveira, Vai Que Cola marked DHD Films’ first production in South America. The project introduced Pedro to the DHD roster and brought us into the neighborhood of Tavares Bastos to tell a story rooted in community, culture, and belief.

These behind-the-scenes moments capture the people, places, and collaboration that made the film possible. We’re proud of the work, grateful to everyone who welcomed us into their story, and honored that Vai Que Cola was recently recognized with a Gold Telly Award.

Continuing to share this year’s Telly Award wins, we’re honored to tell the ongoing story of the University of Texas at Arlington and the Silver-winning documentary “Bishop College: The Story is Still Alive,” recognized in the General – Social Issues category.

Created in partnership with UTA, the film explores the rise, fall, and enduring legacy of Bishop College, the last historically Black college in Texas before its closure in 1988. Through archival materials, oral histories, and present-day reflection, the documentary preserves stories and experiences that deserve to be remembered and shared.

More than a look back at a lost institution, the film asks larger questions about memory, legacy, community, and what happens when cultural institutions disappear.

New tools aren’t the advantage. The team trained to use them is.

We’re currently taking our team through DHD Films’ proprietary AI Bootcamp — an eight-week curriculum led by our Creative Director, Evan Denton.

The program helps creative teams better understand where AI belongs in the workflow, and where human craft still has to lead.

Originally developed for a Fortune 500 client, the bootcamp was built to do more than upskill an internal creative team. It gave them a practical framework they could use immediately — and a finished video asset to show for it.

Now, we’re bringing that same curriculum to our own team.

The goal isn’t to replace craft with speed. It’s to help teams move faster without lowering the standards that separate sharp creative from AI slop.
