Humbled and honored , this award belongs to Raiders past and present , to the families and parents who support the kids ,to Oak Cliff and anybody from this community . .1982 Thank you , , & for your support years ago. When I created my purpose was to simply tell stories to combat the stigmas and misconceptions of the beautiful community that I’m from. I never considered awards but honored to be recognized for the film . Thank you for editing this project , forever grateful. thank you for lending yourself to the sound design , I’m forever grateful .
