If you follow my lifestyle account, then many of you know that this past summer was really rough for me. On June 6, I was hacked by someone in another country, posing as Dell's Concierge. As a result, the hacker wiped my laptop that contained over 7500 files (work, documents, personal photos, etc.) -- to the point that the files were unrecoverable by the best data recovery centers in the world.
Because we know how the enemy works, 6 weeks later, I realized that my photography website was down, only to discover an email from my hosting company that their main server crashed and they permanently lost over 10,000 websites.
It has taken me months to process + recover from all of this. It has been heartbreaking, devastating, depressing, and at times -- unbearable. I am still working to build a new website + restore my contacts, but I have now resumed with booking photoshoots. I'm so grateful that I serve an awesome God and I know that when the enemy works hard, God is working even harder. I have faith that something awesome is in store + better things are on the way!! 🖤 - Shay
