And honestly, I might.

I love getting to be creative with my couples and having the freedom to try different things throughout a session. Sometimes that means getting a little adventurous, going barefoot in a creek, or chasing the last bit of sunlight.

Whatever we end up doing, the goal is always the same: photos that feel like YOU.

Let’s get these two married today! 🤍💍

But first, one last little look at their love story before they say “I do.”

Golden hour, wide-open fields, cowboy boots, and the kind of love that makes even the simplest moments feel like they belong in a movie.

From running hand in hand through the sunset to the quiet moments in between, this engagement session was everything I love about being a wedding photographer. Nothing overly posed. Nothing forced. Just two people, completely themselves, soaking in one of the sweetest seasons of their lives.

And today, I get to watch their next chapter begin. 🥹

the tiny bows. the little hands. the way she fits perfectly between mom + dad. all the things that feel normal right now but will mean everything one day.

this is why I love photographing families in the middle of the season they’re actually living.

Engagement photos, but make them feel like a scene you accidentally walked into.

I want the movement. The in-between moments. The weird angles that somehow become my favorite photo of the entire gallery. The way the light hits for approximately 30 seconds and suddenly I’m yelling, “WAIT, STAY RIGHT THERE.” 😂

Because yes, we’ll get the pretty portraits. But I also want the photos that actually feel like you two.

Just a couples session… until it wasn’t. 🥹💍

She thought we were taking photos.
He had a slightly different plan.

And THIS is exactly why I love photographing proposals. The split second where everything clicks, the hands over the face, the laughing, the wait, is this actually happening?! and then getting to photograph the two of them in that little bubble afterward.

Safe to say she said yes. 🤍

Engagement sessions will forever be one of my favorites because we get to just hang out, walk around, laugh a little and make something pretty out of it.
