I want to make a very clear statement for my business.
I have slowed down on sharing child faces and family sessions online. I will now NEVER share or post any identifiable features of any child. Regardless if I have permission. Im still taking family photos and milestones, ect this does not affect your galleries! Just expressing that I will not post those images with visable faces.
I do not publicly share my children’s face on my business page so therefore I will not be doing that to other families.
The biggest reason I wanted to make this statement is because of the new bill that just passed.
The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals just ruled that privately possessing AI-generated CSAM depicting “fictional” children can be constitutionally protected when it stays within the home. So, we should probably talk about the recent federal court ruling involving AI-generated child sexual abuse material.. The court ruled that the federal government cannot criminalize the private, in-home possession of obscene AI-generated CSAM under the statute at issue
so anyone can go and use any picture of a child’s face or body and make child sexual abuse material and it is completely LEGAL.
Another photographer made this post and I felt like it was also very important to say.
As a mom, I cannot in good conscience sharing part of your heart just for the sake of my business. I will protect my children and yours too ❤️
