One of my favorite behind-the-scenes moments ever.
She caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror, and you could feel every emotion come through at once.
She had been through a lot in her life, and this session was about so much more than photos. It was about reconnecting with herself again. Seeing herself again. Feeling worthy of taking up space again.
Even though these are just behind the scenes images, they will always be some of my favorites because I still remember how emotional and powerful that moment was for her. Watching her see herself differently was something I’ll never forget.
That day became a turning point. She started putting herself forward, loving herself more deeply, and stepping back into who she truly was. She hasn’t looked back since.
