Ivi is art in human form and it’s always great shooting with her ❤️🔥❤️🔥. She’s one that comes with ideas so random that it’s awesome bouncing thoughts back and forth, then seeing how it plays out.
When I first started learning how to do portrait photography, I was literally so basic, didn’t like possible distracting outfits or props or whatever random thing (or was told not to like by “professional photographers who follow the normal rules). In order to get “perfect” photos.
Over the years I learned the professional portrait photography world is the actual boring and basic photo world, and the really good shots are from breaking “rules”.
Started learning that when people came with wacky ideas or interesting outfits, to not turn them away, but let’s try it anyways, even if it’s a terrible idea that “shouldn’t” work, since it might make them look thicker, or blend in too much, hide too much, or too bright or whatever. The “should not’s” usually end up being the “glad I did’s”.
Just for the example, before, I typically would stray away from outfit like this. It looks great, but the black drape part over top of a solid black one piece suit, can drastically hide her shape, which for fitness is a VERY bad thing since the entire point is to show off her epic physique/shape in whatever outfit they’re in, but I’ve learned to try it anyways because if there is a hint of a good look out of an idea, you’ll be happier you tried it instead of waving it off.
