When Grant called me a while back and told me he wanted to surprise Cassie for their wedding anniversary with a photo shoot at their wedding venue, I knew that I wasn’t going to let anything stop me from capturing that moment. I’ve watched these two incredible people grow, not just individually, but completely and wholly together. It’s very easy to admire their love story. We all know love doesn’t come easy, we have to care for it, nurture it, soothe it and respect it. The two of you are a shining example of what the rewards of love are. I met Grant and Cassie separately while flying. Cassie was the burst of positivity and energy I needed on a trip that I didn’t want, it was also her birthday during. Being a flight attendant is no easy job, it’s even harder when the holidays, including birthdays, come around. I did my best to get three plane full’s worth of people to each tell her Happy Birthday to make it as special as possible. Pair that with overhead bin pictures (a flight attendant rite of passage), I’d like to think it was memorable for both of us. Grant and I met in the rarest of circumstances, I’m talking “flying a 767 into LaGuardia” rare...because that’s exactly what we did. Shouting “Kobe” every time we threw something away like a basketball. I knew he was a brother for life. At another colleagues baby shower, I’d tell Grant about Cassie and that she was single, they flew together a few hours later and the rest is history, dating, engagement, marriage and now a baby! Yesterday’s Gender Reveal/Baby Shower was a full circle moment for us.

It brings tears to my eyes to have shared in one of life’s most joyful moments with you guys!

It takes a village and we made a baby! ❤️🎀

When I first met Sondra, two years ago, we were flying together on a trip to New York. We were spending the night there and having the entire next day to enjoy the city. A few friends had reached out to me and told me how sweet and wonderful she was. They also told me she was just like me and would love to adventure the city. We hit it off immediately and I knew we had to do a little photoshoot as we walked around the city. We’ve kept in touch ever since and I knew once I launched JoySeekerPhotography, she was going to be one of the first people I would have a session with.

Words can’t express how grateful I am to have captured all of Sondra’s Fall joy and that she chose me to do so.

I love you GGB! I had such a hard time picking my favorites! I hope you love them as much as I do.

A little about me, your photographer.

I was born in West Texas and lived there for most of my life until a promotion brought me to Dallas. I’ve lived here for seven years now and it’s home.

I love being able to live in the calmness, while still being next door to all the hustle and bustle.

I discovered who I really am, what I really love doing and what my biggest goals are here.

I love making people smile, seeing someone happy is something that brings me so much joy. Bringing joy to the forefront of my life and others lives, as well, is a passion for me.

I’ve always been the “picture taker” of the family. Partially because I always had a camera with me, mostly because according to my family, I’ve “always had an eye for it”.

Needless to say, this year has been a wild ride, but it’s brought me to some amazing places in my life. Another promotion, becoming a dog dad (again) and now starting JoySeeker Photography.

If I’m given the privilege to capture your joyful moments, you can rest assured that I won’t be satisfied until you’re satisfied with what we create.
