One of the most special gifts for me as a photographer is getting to become close with a bride. Kayla and I ended up being in Debate class together last fall. I got to know her more and more, we talked about her wedding almost every week! Seeing her love and passion for the Lord and ministry made getting to walk alongside her and Parker in this season such a gift!

Just wanted to say that I am so grateful for everyone that has reached out to schedule a photoshoot over the past few months. It was scary when I quit my student worker job to pursue photography as a job while being in college. But, it has been neat to see the Lord’s faithfulness in providing such an abundance of opportunities to grow my business and learn more about photography and people! I am beyond grateful!

At this point in time, I am completely booked until January. With that being said, if you are interested in booking later this winter or spring I would love to talk more! However, if you are looking for a session in November and December I am fully booked. I am beyond grateful for the support and would love to schedule a later session.❤️

Expectations vs reality of my life behind the scenes.

I’ve been making strides on my to-do list recently, and I’m coming so close to finally being on track. It’s been hard learning good boundaries and time management in college while also building my photography business. I’m figuring out what works for me and how to run my business so that so can serve others well and celebrate people!! So, yay for progress! There’s a lot more I want to do and change, but I’m not there yet. And it’s okay to not be where you want to be, we are all learning and growing!

Hey friends! So, a little over a month ago, I stopped by campus job to be able to do school and my photography business full time. I was taking 15 hours, working 20 hours, and leading youth retreats or photography on the weekends.... while also being apart of a sorority. Nothing was getting done and I had a mountain of work only getting bigger. I have always been that person that overcommits and gets too involved for my own good. Something had to go and as I prayed about it, more photography opportunities started to arise. I felt like I would be crazy to quit my campus job with a consistent paycheck, I mean... that’s not possible. But, there comes a point when you have to decide whether fear is worth sacrificing obedience for. I definitely took a leap in faith, and it’s been neat to see the Lord provide so many opportunities for learning and growth. I’m not going to lie, it’s still sometimes terrifying to put myself out there. But, it’s honestly one of the coolest things to follow the Lord even when things don’t make sense. There’s nothing better than following the Lord in obedience.
