I was so lucky to have had to opportunity to model for/work with four different photographers over the summer for my maternity photos. Being on the client side of things really brings a different perspective. I always strive to give my clients an elevated experience and for them to leave their session being more confident than they arrived.
To be honest, I had that experience with three out of the four photographers. I would never put the photographer on blast who made me feel like I wasn’t her target client. Let’s just say it was noticed by more than just myself and at first I thought I was making things up in my head, but then when I was asked if everything was ok, I knew I wasn’t.
Going forward that experience will make me a better photographer and business owner in general, because I would be devastated if I knew clients were ever in front of my camera feeling that way. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing, but being pregnant or being postpartum also brings a lot of emotions.
All of the photographers whose images are shown above were nothing but amazing. I am so lucky to have had them hyping me up and making my pregnancy feel beautiful.
