The forest became my lab.
Creation became my reminder.
And somewhere between the trails, the fields, and the water, God began shaping a new vision for Photo LAbbz.
Over the past few months, I've spent a lot of time praying, learning, creating, and seeking God's direction for both my life and my business. Throughout Scripture, we see God use the wilderness to develop faith, character, and purpose. As I entered a season of seeking, I found myself drawn there too.
I began exploring parts of our own backyard that I never knew existed—quiet forests, hidden trails, open fields, and lakeside paths. In those places, I discovered more than beautiful scenery. I found reminders of God's creativity, His patience, and the way He grows things over time.
I was reminded that growth is rarely instant. It's a process. A season. A becoming.
That idea is reflected in the fern that now accompanies my brand. Unlike many plants, ferns don't begin with a flower. They begin small, hidden, and often unnoticed. Yet they continue to unfold, grow, and thrive in their own time. To me, the fern represents resilience, growth, and the beauty of becoming who God created us to be—one season at a time.
That journey has inspired a new direction for my brand—one that focuses less on perfection and more on the beauty of becoming. The quiet strength of motherhood. The wonder of childhood. The depth of love. The sacredness of seasons that never stay the same for long.
So I'd like to officially introduce the next chapter of Photo LAbbz.
Photo LAbbz creates earthy, story-driven portrait sessions for women, mothers, children, and lovers—preserving the beauty of fleeting seasons through emotional, nature-based imagery.

I'm still building my portfolio for this new chapter and will have much more to share in the coming months. For now, these images offer a glimpse into the heart behind the work and the experience I'm creating.
