As I watch on LW Sports game days, some of the most precious things I see are little moments between parents and their non-playing kids. I love the fact that for an hour every week the families' worlds slow down enough to spend time just BEING by & with each other. I have to admit, sometimes I'm a "stalker of the stands". 😉

I have taken pictures of this amazing kid on the field & court for many years, and now he's a senior, so that means my camera gets to capture him in a new environment.
Um, how these guys grow up so fast?!!!

A great coach is willing to switch out shoes when his player doesn't have hers for the game. But, a LW Sports Coach will not only switch, even when that player owns Rainbow Crocs, but he will wear them with pride & cheer his girls on with everything he has!!

I spend a lot of my free time partnering with this sports program and have come to adore the volunteers, parents, & kids! As I watch the game days I see beauty that I wish I could adequately share in words for others to appreciate the value of ALL this program is doing.

One thing that repeatedly impresses me is the care these coaches have for their teams. This coach's willingness to wear the crocs and let the girl play in his shoes is just a simple example of their desire to let the kids learn & love the game!

I am honored to be a part of the Living Word Church LW Sports program! Watching God work through sports has been life changing for me in ways I can not express in words. Check this program out if you are looking for an opportunity for a child to participate in competitive basketball, soccer, volleyball, flag football or cheer.

2 more days until LW Sports Junior Rockets Basketball evaluations - which means the season games are just around the corner .... Who is ready for the biggest & best season so far?!

Sometimes people come into your life that you KNOW are gifts. That is this guy, Byron R Page, for me.
I am excited to see his Page's Backyard BBQ get so busy that he is taking it to the next level by capturing pictures to show the process & care he puts into his food preparation. We had fun and now my camera bag smells like some good ol' Texas Barbecue!
