the first half of the session, we were about 15 minutes in and it started POURING depsite the forcast. Jenny, Jeffrey and Zion were such troopers and waited it out with me for almost 30 minutes and we were rewarded with the most moody lighting and cooler weather.

With the new year comes the opportunity to finally reflect on every photographer’s most busy, yet most rewarding season. The cold weather drifts in and ushers out the chaos, clearing the dust from screen-tired eyes enough for us to really appreciate the beauty of what we do.
Photography is so special to me, and my wonderful clients remind me of why i love it more with every passing year.
From photographing a family of 5 that came to me as an engaged couple 8 years ago to meeting a new client for the first time who was a 4th generation recommendation (if that makes sense😅) I have realized how blessed I am that God and all of you sweet clients allow me to continue doing a job i love. While this was hands down my busiest holiday season yet, i count it all joy as i look back on a year of growth, new and old friends and art.

All this to say: BUCKLE UP because I'm finally going to post some highlights! 😅
