Sharing a project I just finished.
Backstory:
Several years back, my wonderful wife gifted me a John Maxwell Leadership Bible. We also attended a conference where we met him and he signed it for me. The problem is that it has a very thin cover and the pages are also quite thin and delicate. I have been storing it in the original box for years to help protect it, but that was getting beat up and I never found a cover I really liked. So, I decided to make it myself.
The concept was simple; I wanted a rugged and durable cover that could be secured without it becoming a small zippered briefcase. Aesthetically, I wanted a hybrid look that blended traditional leathercraft with clean, functional, contemporary design. I’m pretty happy with the final product!
