Founded in Okinawa, Japan, Blue-Ryu Photo was conceived out of a passion for photography and youth sports. A life-long hobby slowly transformed into a prospering business when friends and parents of young athletes on our children's sports teams kept raving over my photos and asking for me to shoot for them. Those request began expanding to shooting for other teams, other sports, boys, girls, semi-

pro, and even professional athletes. I'm excited for what the future holds in store for Blue-Ryu Photo, and I hope you'll be a part of our journey!

Excited to see Christian playing with his good friend, Lyons Tillman in the PG 12U Majors All-State tournament this weekend. These two kiddos are awesome athletes and fantastic teammates! Both are standout players, the two fastest on their team (both have sub-4 second times to 1st base...elite level times) and a real pleasure to watch on the field!

The Country music band, FM2865 (aka Parker Heights Music), held a free reunion concert..."Another Holler & Swaller" Friday night at the Rockin' J in Madisonville, TX. Despite overstocking on beer, and then making multiple resupply runs, the venue still sold out twice over the course of a few hours. It was reportedly the largest crowds they've hosted at the popular local spot. All told, it was a night to remember filled with good food, great friends, great music, and one amazing party! The resounding sentiment during the event and afterwards has been for FM2865 to announce and start planning the next one!

Player Highlight:
At Cooperstown, June 2026, #7 Reid Pearson not only played the full gamut of baseball for Prospect United Houston having filled roles in the infield, outfield, pitching and catching, but his most impressive performance was from the mound. His dominating presence was unmistakable as a starting pitcher, hurling the ball in two games, delivering just 64 pitches over 7 total innings as he faced 24 batters. During these 2 starts he tallied 5 strikeouts with just one walk; he gave up 4 total hits and then worked out of them, leaving 3 runners stranded. With the support of his team behind him, he garnered a 0.00 ERA and allowed zero runs as a starting pitcher.

He also made an appearance in Game 1 as a reliever that ended in a loss, but he still managed to hurl 32 strikes over 50 pitches. In his last game, he threw 27 strikes out of 42 pitches.

Great work out there Reid!!!

During our week at Cooperstown we stayed in a beautiful farmhouse built in the mid-late 1800's about 20 minutes from All-Star Village. Despite a very rainy arrival, we had some beautiful weather most of the week and a few fantastic sunsets.
