Through the window. To the wall...

This picture doesn’t do the darkroom print justice at all. Half of the branches you can’t even see in this for some reason.

First time shooting with the 4x5 in the studio... the digital print doesn’t even do the physical dark room print justice with the amount of detail in this. You can’t get the kind of detail out of any other standard camera than you can with the 4x5.

The second image is another negative shot of the 4x5 but I took a lighter to the negative before I printed it to create these cool effects on the sides @ Bridgeland High School

Blurred facial identity to represent “digital dementia” (over usage of technology increases the affects of dementia) the loss of identity and the affect technology has on people with Alzheimer’s etc. the older generation is losing touch with their old ways, yet are lost and confused trying to co-op with the newer generations speed. The dust left on the film represent the old age and deterioration of the mind, while the picture frames are flipped in the background to represent Alzheimer’s and dementia, losing who you are yourself, and forgetting about the people who are there for you and around you.
