What you wear for your session shapes more than just the look of your photos—it shapes how the moments feel.

The most timeless outfits are the ones that allow you to move naturally, feel confident, and simply be present with the people you love. ✨

There’s an art to bridal portraits…

The kind that don’t just showcase your gown, but reflect how the day felt—the quiet anticipation, the emotion, the stillness before everything begins.

When it comes to creating portraits that feel timeless and true to you, a few small things can make all the difference:

Take a moment to slow down and be present.
Your bridal portraits are one of the only times you’ll have to yourself—let yourself fully take it in.

Be intentional about who is with you.
Whether it’s just you, a few close friends, or sharing the moment with your soon-to-be husband, the space around you shapes how these moments feel.

Have your bouquet ready.
Florals add such a beautiful softness and texture, but more than that, they become part of the story you’ll remember.

The subtle moments from Mallory and Dre’s summer engagement session.

The way their hands find each other, the in-between glances, the soft excitement of this season, and of course… the gorgeous ring.

It’s often these small details that hold the most meaning.

There’s something about a well-curated flatlay—it’s where the little things tell a big part of your story.

From your invitation suite with its envelope liner and wax seal, to your rings and jewelry, your shoes, and even a special keepsake like a family heirloom or meaningful perfume, every detail adds to the story of your day.

When planning your flatlay, think about:

* Something personal that reflects you—like your handwritten vows, a locket, or a gift from your fiancé

* Items that photograph well together—think textures like lace, velvet, metallics, or soft florals that complement your palette (always ask your florist for extra)

* A few key statement pieces rather than everything—your rings, shoes, bouquet, and stationery, letting each item shine

The details are small, but their impact lasts forever. ✨

Lately I’ve been drawn to slower sessions like this.

A quiet studio, soft light, and space to just be together.

Nothing forced, nothing rushed—just moments unfolding naturally.

These are the kinds of sessions that remind me why I love what I do so much… and I can’t wait to create more of them.

It’s often the smallest details that tell the biggest part of the story.

Before the day begins, there’s a quiet moment where everything comes together — the shoes, the florals, the pieces so thoughtfully chosen to reflect a bride’s style.

Florals, especially, do more than just add beauty. They set the tone for the entire day — soft and romantic, refined and elegant, or something entirely your own.

Finding a florist you truly connect with makes all the difference. Someone who understands your vision and brings it to life in a way that feels effortless and true to you. 🌺

Because when every detail is chosen with intention, it doesn’t just photograph beautifully — it becomes part of your story.

Some wedding venues are chosen for their beauty. Others are chosen for the memories they already hold.

Rachel and Chase chose to begin their marriage at the groom’s childhood home, where the entire day unfolded in the backyard surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Every detail felt personal — from Rachel’s soft spring florals and elegant details, to the mismatched bridesmaid dresses and vintage plates thoughtfully placed at each table.

Even the groom’s childhood dogs wandered through the celebration, greeting guests like they had hosted weddings there their whole lives.

As the evening came to a close, we stepped into the backyard for sunset portraits beside the tree Chase’s parents planted together on their wedding day — the most meaningful way to begin a new chapter.

A timeless spring backyard wedding surrounded by family, love, and the place that started it all.

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR… KIDS PERSONALITY PORTRAITS

These have quickly become some of my favorite sessions, and I’m so excited to be offering them again — this time in both spring and fall at two different locations.

ROUND ONE details:
• April 18th (morning)
• Local studio in Cleveland

These sessions are designed entirely with your kids in mind. They get to be themselves, wear their favorite outfit, and let their personality shine — whether that’s sweet, silly, shy, or full of energy.

With quick 10-minute sessions, you’ll receive a beautiful gallery of timeless portraits that truly reflect who your child is right now. Simple, fun, and full of heart.

✨ Perfect for children 6 months and older (must be able to sit independently).

✨ All about embracing who they are and what they’re loving in this season.

Let’s talk about wedding weekend celebrations—because the story doesn’t start on the wedding day anymore.

More and more of my couples are choosing to have their weekend documented, beginning with the rehearsal and dinner the night before. And honestly? It’s become one of my favorite parts to photograph.

This is when everyone you love is together, the nerves haven’t set in yet, and the excitement is quietly building. It’s relaxed, intimate, and full of the kind of moments that can’t be recreated on a timeline.

It’s also a chance for you and your wedding party to feel comfortable in front of the camera—and for you and your partner to steal a few sweet, unhurried portraits together. These portraits often become some of my couples’ favorites, right alongside their wedding day images.

Your wedding weekend tells a fuller story, and it’s such a joy to document it from the very beginning.
