For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him. 1 Sam 1:27

Words can't describe the thankfulness and joy that are in my heart. Thank you Jesus for the gift of this sweet child. Thank you for your timing, your love, your grace. Thank you for the opportunity to watch my sister step into the role of motherhood and that she has welcomed me to walk along side her. God, you knitted together each and every sweet part of this beautiful boy. There is no doubt he is fearfully and wonderfully made. May he grow to love and serve you. Guide his heart, his steps, his words, his days. Let him learn self-control early and may he trust you easily. Establish the work of his hands and delight in the truth of his lips. God, surround this child with your love, protection and guidance. Thank you for this gift.
