Let’s dive into some common questions I get asked about downloading photos! ⬇️

❓“Which file size should I select when downloading my photos?”

ALWAYS download high resolution files for printing!! I can’t stress this enough! That’s how you get crisp, high quality prints.

❓“Why does it give me the option for web sized files?”
Web sized files are great for sharing on social media without blurring/graininess from compression. Fun fact: social media generally can’t support the large files size associated with high resolution files, so it compresses them (often not in the best quality way), which results in softness, pixelation, graininess, etc. Downloading web sized files still results in compression, but it’s compression done intentionally to preserve quality when posted on online platforms.

So- for printing: ALWAYS high resolution
For socials: web sized will look best, though the high resolution files will technically still work if you don’t want to download both.

It’s been a long, busy fall behind the camera. 📸 So many sessions to share, but for now, here are a couple from this dreamy family session when the trees were literally screaming fall 😍 Fun fact, I got to take their little girl’s newborn photos 7 years ago. 🥹 One of the coolest parts of my job is getting to watch people and families grow and change over the years! 🩷

✨ CHRISTMAS MINI INFO ✨
If you have a Christmas mini today, please plan to arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time to allow time to get everyone out of the car, lipstick touched up, etc. These are booked back to back, so unfortunately late arrival will cut into your session time. You’ll park in front of the guest house (green roof in 3rd photo) and walk through the gate to your left. The greenhouse will be right there. Can’t wait to create some Christmas magic with you all! ❤️🎄📸
