Salt Baked Laserworks My name is Brian. I was born and raised in Maine and lived here my whole life. Que another rocky time period and a restart of my life path.

After graduating high school in 2007 I got off to a rocky start, eventually attending College, where I graduated with a degree in Information Technology. After moving back home in December of 2010 I found work with my Father until the next summer when in June 2011 my uncle called me and asked if I was interested in working as his Sternman on his lobster-boat. Fast forward 11 years and into my 12th

season, I’ve moved from my Uncle's boat and made this a career, I'm now on a year round offshore boat! I never knew I would love lobstering as much as I do, it’s become a part of me and who I am. The photos I take and the photography I do, are my testament to that feeling that lobstering gives me. I’m fortunate to be one of the first people in the country to see the sun every day. I get to see views that few else get the chance to see and when that moment is gone they will never be seen exactly like that again. That is why I started Salt Baked Photography; to share the natural view and wonders of nature and the world around me. In the end, I’m just a lobsterman with a camera, trapping the world through my lens!

Realized I've been slacking on posting here of product/design updates.

The plant signs for instance.
They are no longer cut from wood.

I now am making them using 2-layer acrylic that will last for many years!

Customizable plant signs!

In 4 varieties.
- 6" Plant Spikes, Thick and Thin versions - set of 12
- 3" 'Farm' Sign - set of 10
- 2" 'Farm' Sign - set of 12

Cut from 1/16" 2-layer Acrylic and laser-engraved with your 'Farm' name (or not) and customized Plant list, these will not fade in the sun and will be usable year after year.

So I successfully got a Peach Seed to start from a pit over the winter and it has been upgraded to a Blue Bucket. 🍑

It deserved it's own sign! So I made one up this morning!

I messed up that inside cut-out section, it was supposed to be engraved like the border on the sign, I will own that mistake, it's part of the learning curve and remembering to assign the different shapes the proper settings. I am leaving it on purpose.

This way every time I look at it, I am reminded to slow down and double check things before I click that "Start" button on the job!

All sorts of things I can make!

Decided I was going to use one of those boxes I made the other day so figured I might as well brand it.

So that's just what I did.

Added the Salt Baked Laserworks logo to the top.

If you had a tagline or byline or company motto, I could engrave that on the inside cover too!

So many options to customize these boxes. 📦

Added a new skill to the "toolbox" of Salt Baked Laserworks yesterday 🧰

I spent the day making boxes! 📦

This was really fun to learn and I can't wait to expand further into more complex boxes and designs!

Adjustments and iterations, learned what works best, and varying joint sizes/spacings.

Anyone need some customs sized gift boxes? 😉
