Last night I shot with the CSO Cadets program – this is the second time I have had the chance to shoot with them. It’s evident that the leaders pour into this program and these kids. The kids want to be there. I asked a couple of them about the program, their feelings, etc. “I love this program, I’m happy here… I have a solid direction for my life. I am learning so much and can’t wait to build my career.” These leaders have built this program from the ground up and are now almost at capacity with 17 active cadets that all hope for a future in law enforcement.

I learned that, while they are under the CSO umbrella, they are not funded by CSO at this time. These cadets and leaders do their own fundraising. They are responsible for getting the funds they need for uniforms, competitions, travel expenses, etc. If you are in a position to donate to this program, let me know and I can put you in touch with the right people.

Tonight, Creekview Wrestling gathered to present State Championship rings to our Back to Back State Duals team, as well as our 5 individual State Champs. One of my favorite things is that Coach Cravens designs the team rings and they don't know what they look like until they open them together.

What a way for these seniors to close our their time at Creekview!

Today these seniors gathered to get information for graduation, and read their letters – one of my favorite days of the year.

After they had lunch with friends and read letters from people both expected & unexpected - friends, family, people that they didn’t know admired them, old friends they had a falling out with, teachers, grandparents, people that love them the most, and for some of them people they didn’t even know – they walked out the doors of Creekview for the very last time as a student.

If & when they return to these halls, it will be as a Grizzly Alumni.

Go do big things, seniors! Have fun, and leave the world a better place.

Thankful for one more session with these seniors today. We missed Ty, but know he's working out of state and doing big things already.

I have spent more time with them than any other team - some of them since youth wrestling. They are a handful, but I will miss them like crazy. Their absence in the wrestling room will be a big one.

Proud of these kids; I can't wait to see what they do next.
