I had the incredible honor of photographing several amazing veterans for Crabapple Neighbors and Our Milton Neighbors Magazine.

During the session, I spoke with Mr. Lusk, who has personally handcrafted all 920 memorial markers used each year to honor local heroes. His wife, lovingly known as “the flag lady,” follows behind with her wagon, placing a flag on each marker as volunteers work together to set them all in place — an entire field of remembrance completed in under an hour. ❤️🤍💙

I also had the privilege of meeting veterans from Vitality Living, who proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army. Each one was so humble and gracious — truly grateful to be recognized in the magazine, yet even more thankful for the opportunity to have served our country.

Days like this remind me what true dedication and selflessness look like.
Thank you to all who have served — today and every day, we honor you. 🇺🇸

This family made my first fall session such a joy — laid-back, full of laughter, and totally in the moment. Mom and Dad were the perfect mix of calm and fun . The fall colors, cozy setup, and their easy energy brought everything together perfectly.
