What a beautiful evening with some sweet friends! 🤍 Charlotte and Brenton are the kind of people who are simply easy to be around! They're genuine, kind, full of joy, and have a way of making everyone around them feel welcomed and loved!

We spent the evening wandering through the flowers, laughing, capturing the glow through the trees, and soaking in the beautiful spring weather by the lake! One of my favorite things about these two is how natural they are together. Nothing feels forced, they simply enjoy being with each other, and that makes documenting their relationship such a joy! This location was so special to them, and I had no idea until we showed up that this was a staple location in their story, I'm so glad we were able to capture some sweet moments here! I'll share more soon, because it was that dreamy!!!

I'm so grateful I got to capture this sweet season of life for them and preserve these memories for years to come!

Longer days are finally here, and that means one of my favorite things is back, golden hour sessions 🤍

Sunset photos never went anywhere haha, but it’s so nice being able to schedule sessions after work again for those that need a later time!!!

That soft, warm light right before sunset is what gives photos that dreamy, timeless feel. It makes everything just a little more magical, I LOVE it!!!! ☀️☀️☀️

I’m creating a North Georgia Location Guide for my clients featuring some of my favorite places for photo sessions around Cu***ng and the surrounding areas, and I’m looking for a small number of couples, young families, and maternity clients to photograph for it! 🥳

These sessions will be intentional and lightly styled, capturing the natural, joyful moments I love most! 🤍

✨ I’m looking for people who are excited to:

• follow a simple wardrobe style guide
• wear soft, neutral tones (1–2 outfits)
• be photographed at curated North Georgia locations
• allow the images to be used in my location guide, portfolio, website, and social media

✨ Selected participants will receive:

• a short photo session at one of my curated locations
• a small gallery of beautifully edited images
• my welcome + style guide + client experience

Sessions will take place over the next few months during golden hour evenings (or sunrise!) at locations like mountain overlooks, lakefront sunsets, open fields, charming town streets, vineyards, and other beautiful North Georgia spots! 🌅

One of the questions I get asked the most as a Cu***ng, Georgia family photographer is: “When is the best time to take family photos?”

The truth is, Georgia is beautiful in every season! Spring brings soft blooms and fresh green trees, summer gives us warm evenings and golden sunsets, fall is full of those classic colorful leaves, and winter offers a simple, cozy kind of timelessness. Each season photographs a little differently, and each one tells its own story! My personal favorite time is Spring and Fall, because everything is gorgeous and not too hot! Every season can be pretty!!!

But the real answer is this: there isn’t one perfect season for family photos. The perfect time is simply this season of your life. Your kids won’t always be this little. Your family won’t always look exactly like this. Family photos freeze a moment that you’ll never get back in quite the same way, and those are often the images families treasure the most years later!

🌟 I’ll be back in North Georgia from mid-April through the end of May, and I’d love to photograph a few families while I’m in town! If you’ve been thinking about updating your family photos this year, this could be the perfect time 🌷
