It was awesome hearing the fighter jet engines roar overhead.

The US Army Golden Knights returned in the afternoon to put on their main performance at the 2023 WV Airshow.

Skip Stewart put on a great show Saturday afternoon at the 2023 West Virginia Airshow.

Skip was flying is modified Pitts S-2S named "Prometheus".

HealthNet Aeromedical Services put on a medivac demonstration with their Base 8 team, transferring a "patient" from a the H-135 helicopter to an ground based ambulance.

Later in the day there was a performance featuring two of these planes. Sadly, I had walked back to the car to grab the chairs and didn't manage to grab any shots of it.

Not quite as gigantic as the Galaxy, but still quite huge, we have the C-17 Globemaster III.

Local to Shepherd Field in Martinsburg, these Globemasters at West Virginia's Greatest Airshow 2023 were with the 167th Airlift Wing.

Next up in the series from the 2023 West Virginia Airshow is a C-5M Super Galaxy with the 512th Airlift Wing that was visiting from Dover Air Force Base for the show,

These planes are truly gigantic, and it was surreal watching them fly at slower speeds as their size concealed their actual speed, and it looked like they should be going too slow to stay in the air.

It's about time to finally start posting up the photos from West Virginia's Greatest Airshow back from August 26, 2023.

Starting off, we have some photos of the US Army Golden Knights's UV-18C followed by the morning Flag Jump. It was a great experience watching Old Glory parachute down from the sky.
