Hello! My name is Melanie and I’m the owner of Madi & Co Sweets! I’m a wife and a mom/bonus mom to two teenagers and two toddlers. When I’m not wrangling children or baking, I’m also a cheer coach! Since 2018, I coached the Cresaptown Eagles Cheerleaders for two seasons, I am going into my 7th season with PKR, and just started my first season with the Braddock Warriors!
I started off making treats for my bonus daughter, Gracelynne, for birthdays and class events. After having my daughter, Madi, my husband and I made the decision for me to be a SAHM. I struggled a lot with this transition, and when my son, Cohen, was born I started feeling like I was losing myself in motherhood, despite loving all the time I got to spend watching my kids grow and never missing a moment. In addition to cake pops for Gracelynne, I was making Starbuck’s dupes so that I wasn’t buying a cake pop every single time I left my house. I then started playing around with themed cake pops, which allowed me to pour so much creativity and love into each set. Cake pops became an outlet for me! Madi & Co Sweets was officially “born” and inspired by my littles!
Not only is this a fun hobby for me, but I am once again able to contribute to my kids’ future because of all of you. I truly am grateful and appreciative for each and every one of you who have ordered from me and continue to trust me with your special events.
