Every now and then I open my phone to messages like these and they’re the ones that keep me going and remind me that there’s some positivity and love in the world. If you know me, you know I’m a words of affirmation girly (guilty). Sometimes I look back at these on hard days. Our brains naturally focus on the negative (especially with the state of the world these days), so here’s your reminder to hold onto the positive, and to tell someone something good about themselves once in a while. It’ll go further than you think. 💛

That’s a wrap folks — last shoot of 2021 today. That marks twenty two shoots this year. Thank you to my friends and family for believing in me, supporting me and telling your friends and family about me. For those of you that don’t know, this is not my full time job, but photography has brought me joy since I was a kid and is continuing to become a bigger and bigger part of my life each year. I’m so grateful to be able to devote time to this and share in your special moments — proposals, engagements, welcoming new members into your family, watching them grow over the years and of course the in-between and just because shoots. You have no idea the how much my face lights up when I look back at all these photos. I hope they do the same for you.
