Melissa Foster Photography I am a lifestyle photographer. I specialize in children & family. My photographs have a candid feel Hi, I’m Melissa, but feel free to call me Mel.

I am wife, mother of two beautiful wildflowers, and have two Siberian Huskies. When I am not chasing kids & dogs I am photographing my journey. I have had a strong passion for photography since I was little. I have always admired how photographers could capture a moment, a feeling, tell a story. I aspired to learn to do that for others. I been working in the field of photography for over 15 years.

I started working for a family run camera store & studio. They encouraged and taught me portrait and sport photography. However, I fell in love with taking Senior Photos. I loved being able to help a High School Senior bring out their true self vs posing or having the same locations as everyone else. Over the years, I truly enjoy all photography. I have enjoyed being part of your journey, from dating, to maternity, to newborn, to toddler & family. My bread & butter is natural light photography with a candid feel. I love finding locations that mean something special to you. Whether its a play date at the park, your backyard, the mountains, or your city. Let me help capture your moments, your feelings, let my photography help tell your story!

I woke up, covered in leaves. I think I hit my head. I have been walking for awhile now. Darkness is beginning to fall; I pick up my pace through the woods.

I stumbled upon a dirt road. I debate taking it when I hear a branch snap. I run as fast as I can, checking behind me, something is after me.

In the distance I see something. With hope I start to approach a small homestead. Praying they can help me….
